Mounting System
Our standard residential grid-tie systems include all support rails & module clamps.
This mounting system has been load-tested and engineered to 125mph wind load (50 lbs/square foot of pressure load) for most module types. Our mounting system secures the solar panels and prevents damage caused from high-winds and seismic forces. The support rail was designed to conceal all attachment hardware. All connections are made inside the support rail hidden from view. All exposed aluminum is fully anodized to module manufacturer specifications.

AC Disconnect Switch
Many utilities require an AC disconnect between a grid-tie inverter and the AC load center, close to the AC service entrance, with a visible and lockable handle.
UL Listed to handle 12A a 600 VDC per pole, also can be used for disconnecting up to three PV arrays for three grid-tie inverters.
For connection of multiple inverters to one of these disconnects, use an AC load center, with a circuit breaker for each inverter installed, as an AC combiner box between the inverters and the disconnect switch. The breakers can be back-fed with the inverter outputs and the load center main lugs will handle the combined outputs to be connected to the AC disconnect.

Sunny Boy SMA 3000US
The newest Sunny Boy 3000 grid-tie inverter has been updated with SMA's most advanced technology and is designed specifically to meet the new IEEE 1547 requirements. The compact design makes it ideal for light commercial or residential use.
Increased efficiency of up to 96.6% means better overall performance and shorter payback periods. All SMA inverters are engineered and built to last. The SMA3000US now comes with a standard ten-year warranty. Sunny Boy inverters are trusted worldwide to go the distance year-round.
Sunny Boy inverters are housed in a watertight stainless steel NEMA 3R outdoor enclosure. The SMA US Series can operate in extreme conditions (ambient temperatures of -13F to +113F). They can be mounted right behind the solar module array on the roof, on a wall, or on the ground.

MC Solar Cables
The MC Solar connectors deliver a flexible system solution for time-saving, dependable series-cabling of solar modules. Most module manufacturers supply their grid-tie modules with pre-assembled output cables, tested and ready for connection. This saves considerable time during an installation and greatly increases reliability over wire junction boxes. These cable couplers are fully touch protected and designed for up to 1000 volts and 30 amps. They are also waterproof. For parallel connection of modules in 12 to 48 volt systems, MC Solar cables makes branch connectors for use with currents up to 30 amps.
